A 4-Day Retreat in the Rocky Mountains with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Acharya Fleet Maull, Rev. Angel Kyodo Williams and Seane Corn

Event has ended.

The pieces are coming together—something extraordinary will be happening this summer at Shambhala Mountain Center.

Awake in the World and Beyond Mindfulness will be coming to the land. Online, some 30,000 people tuned in to listen, practice, and experience the teachings of an amazing cast of top thought leaders, wisdom holders and social visionaries. They were discussing putting wisdom into action in our everyday lives.

Now we’re creating the opportunity for only a couple hundred inspired individuals to make the journey here to the mountains of Colorado to go even deeper, to immerse in a retreat environment, to envision and aspire, and to learn the techniques to make a difference.

There will be keynote talks from masters like Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, experiential workshops with change makers like Acharya Fleet Maull and Rev. Angel Kyodo Williams, and practice sessions led by the likes of Seane Corn, Acharya Dan Hessey, Acharya Susan Skjei, Acharya Dale Asrael and Shastri Holly Gayley.

We’ll be sinking into the beauty of the Rocky Mountains in the peak of summer, socializing in a community intent on compassionate action, and preparing to return to our daily lives with clarity and intention.

For a limited time, tickets to Wisdom in Action will be available at an Early Bird Discount rate. This price will only be available until June 16th. So take a leap and make the journey to Shambhala Mountain Center this summer for an event unlike anything we’ve done before!

Lodging Reservations

After registering for your ticket for Wisdom in Action you will need to register for your lodging and meals option. Shambhala Mountain Center offers a variety of housing options ranging from seasonal platform tents on wooded hillsides, to fine lodge rooms with modern conveniences. Lodging prices include housing, three meals per day (vegetarian and vegan options available) and use of our facilities (trails, the Great Stupa, dining hall, etc.)

Housing options are limited, especially for our lodge rooms. If you want to guarantee a lodging option, you must register soon. Reservation is assured upon payment of 50% of total lodging fee. We will automatically process the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your program arrival date.

If your ideal lodging option is sold out there is a chance you may be able to upgrade. Just mark your preferred lodging in the “waitlist” option during registration.

Some Of Our Popular Lodging Options Include:

Lodge Rooms are no longer available.

*If you decide to stay outside of Shambhala Mountain Center, a $49 per diem applies for meals and use of land and facilities.

Waitlist

Because we have conservatively blocked off lodging options to house our hosts and program staffers, it is likely that a couple of lodge singles and doubles will open up. During lodging registration you may select a preferred lodging upgrade under the waitlist option and we will contact you if that spot does indeed open up.

Cancellations

If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to arrival (by June 8th), you will receive a full refund less a credit card processing fee of 5% per payment. If you cancel between 7 and 30 days prior to arrival, we will credit your payment towards another program at Shambhala Mountain Center to be used within 2 years. No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations received fewer than 7 days prior to arrival.
